Directions 

  
Bethany United Methodist Church, located at 570 W. Bakersville-Edie Road, high in the Laurel Mountains, just below Hidden Valley and Seven Springs Ski Resorts. 
                From Seven Springs Area:

                                Turn right out of Seven Springs onto County Line Road. Go 5.1 miles

                                Turn Left onto Trent Road.  Go 3.7 miles

                                At “T” intersection (Rt. 31) turn left.  Go 3/10 of a mile

                                Bear right onto Bakersville-Edie Road.  Follow double yellow lines 4.6 miles.  Road will

snake around.  As you cross the turnpike bridge the road will go right, the church is

about 200 years down on your left.

 

                From Hidden Valley:

                                From 1 Craighead Road go south on Craighead and bear left onto Lakeview Drive.

                                At Route 31 turn right and go 2.6 miles and turn left onto Schoolhouse Road.

                                Go 2/10th of a mile.  Turn left onto the Bakersville-Edie Road. Follow double yellow

                             lines 4.6 miles.  Road will snake around.  As you cross the turnpike bridge the road

                             will go right, the church is about 200 years down on your left.

 

                From Somerset:

                                Take Route 601 North.  At the BP Gas Station continue straight which will become Rt

985. Go approx. 3 miles.  You will go down a steep hill and as you are coming up the second road to your left you will turn left. (Says Municipal Road) This will be the Bakersville-Edie Road.  Follow the double yellow line approx. 5 miles.  The road will snake around.  Church will be on your right.
